Free OK CDL School Bus Practice Test 2024

Oklahoma has a large network of public school systems that rely heavily on school buses to transport students across the state. Many students, especially in the smaller rural communities, rely on school buses to get to and from school. The Oklahoma Department of Education ensures that all school buses undergo regular maintenance and that their drivers are qualified to operate them. In Oklahoma, all school bus drivers must obtain a CDL with a School Bus (S) endorsement, which is mandatory for driving any type of school bus. For operating type B, C or D school buses, you will also need a Passenger Vehicles (P) endorsement, which allows you to drive vehicles designed to transport 16 or more occupants, including yourself.

These endorsements can be obtained after passing their respective knowledge tests and a skills test in a school bus. We’ll help you prepare for the written School Bus knowledge test in Oklahoma, but there are several more steps you need to take. Aspiring school bus drivers must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) medical examination as well as a criminal background check. All CDL holders are subject to random drug and alcohol tests throughout their career, so it is recommended to stay away from such vices while you are responsible for the safety of your passengers.

Essential details about commercial driving and its endorsements can be found in the official Oklahoma CDL Handbook 2024, which also contains a chapter on school buses. While the manual explains this subject in detail, its content might not be enough for you to pass the knowledge test on your first attempt. As an aspiring school bus driver, you must fully master this subject and use all the available learning resources.

Our free Oklahoma CDL School Bus practice tests can help you identify areas that need improvement. Consisting of 20 questions, these tests have several features that can enhance your learning journey. During your first few tries, you shouldn’t pay attention to the score. Instead, you should use the immediate feedback feature to develop a better understanding of the subject. Since there is no timer, you can take notes and learn more about school buses while you are still training with our practice tests.
